Product SIR – Smart Innovative Racquet
Product Summary: SIR is a revolutionary table tennis-shaped paddle that seamlessly integrates a smartphone. It enables users to perform shadow swings and basic dance patterns in sync with music, providing rhythm pacing and simple form feedback through phone sensors. Optional selfie clips document progress, making it a portable, joint-friendly, habit-building tool. No table required.
Problem and Solution
People often abandon workouts due to boredom, high impact, or lack of tracking. Technique sports performed at home often lack structure and feedback. SIR addresses these challenges by integrating a phone into a paddle-shaped cover that feels natural. Rhythm provides pacing and sensors provide accountability, so training becomes consistent, measurable, and enjoyable.
Key Differentiators
- Technique first, joints second: real patterns without excessive impact.
- Music equals pacing: rhythm keeps reps honest and consistent.
- Measured improvement: sensor cues and quick clips build accountability.
- Train anywhere: living room, hallway, park, or studio; no table required.
- Protected by U.S. patent covering weighted paddle and smartphone recess concepts.
Target Users
- Kids and teens: enhance coordination and confidence.
- Busy adults: joint-friendly cardio that teaches practical skills.
- Active seniors: balance, reaction, and posture, safely.
- Athletes: footwork, rhythm, upper-limb endurance.
- Coaches and clubs: playlist-driven stations and quick before/after clips.
How It Works
Insert the phone, choose a rhythm, and move: shadow forehand, backhand, split-step, or waltz box and tango walks. The phone gyroscope and accelerometer gauge smoothness and consistency while optional selfie clips document progress. Every session is portable, structured, and repeatable in ordinary spaces.
Why Now
Everyone already carries the perfect training computer: a smartphone. SIR places it in the right form so movement feels natural. Rhythm creates pacing, pacing creates habit, and habit wins.

Traction and Launch
Status: pilot-ready prototypes and media assets. Launch timing aligned with the A24 film Marty Supreme to spotlight New York table-tennis roots and performance flair. Founder appears in a Ping Pong Parlour scene; the late Marty Reisman was a personal mentor and friend.
Origin Story and Credibility
I grew up in Budapest. In 1956 my family fled to Rome and then to New York. Table tennis and music became my anchors. I was a friend of the legendary Marty Reisman, who gifted me his original hard-bat paddle. That inspiration helped shape the invention. SIR evolves from my granted U.S. patent titled “Progressive Weighted Aerobic Ping Pong Exercise Racquet.”
