SIR Team Training – AI-Assisted Coaching Class
Where accelerated learning, rhythm, and modern technology transform the way table tennis is taught.
through guided shadow-swinging, real-time demonstration, immediate imitation, and intelligent
video review. No one stands still. Everyone learns, moves, and improves together.
1. Coach Demonstration of Core Strokes
Each class begins with the coach at the table, demonstrating clear and controlled versions of the
core table tennis strokes:
- Forehand Drive (FH)
- Backhand Drive (BH)
- Topspin Stroke / Loop (TS)
- Underspin / Backspin Stroke (US)
The coach performs each movement slowly and precisely so students can see proper stance, bat angle,
contact point, body rotation, follow-through, and recovery. This creates a strong technical blueprint
for every player in the room.
2. Shadow-Swinging Directly Behind the Coach
One student steps directly behind the coach, aligned with their body, and
mimics the stroke in sync. This is accelerated learning:
- See the stroke
- Mirror the movement
- Feel the correct motion
- Lock it into muscle memory
The student copies the coach’s technique stroke-for-stroke, matching rhythm, timing, and movement.
Instead of guessing what “proper form” feels like, they experience it immediately.
3. Everyone Active, All the Time
While one student is shadow-swinging behind the coach, the rest of the class is fully engaged
in supporting roles that keep the session moving and efficient:
A. Ball Recyclers
Two students collect scattered balls and refill the iPong robot. This keeps the table ready for
the next round of strokes and avoids downtime between drills.
B. SIR Camera Operator
Another student films the active learner using the SIR system. The camera captures form, body
position, swing path, and rhythm, creating a personalized training video for that student.
In this way, every role is part of the training: one student learns by doing,
others learn by watching, helping, and recording.
What Makes This Class Different?
- Live coach demonstration of every stroke
- Immediate shadow-swing imitation for fast learning
- Continuous ball-feed with the iPong robot
- SIR-powered video capture for each student
- No idle time – every student is active and engaged
This is not a traditional “line up and wait” lesson. It is a rotating, high-energy learning
environment designed for faster improvement and better retention.
4. SIR Video for At-Home Practice
After class, the filmed student receives their SIR training video. At home, they can:
- Mirror the video to their Smart TV
- Slow down and review their strokes
- Compare their movement with pro-level examples
- Repeat the same shadow-swing drills in their living room
- Reinforce everything they learned in class
This extends learning far beyond the session itself and turns practice into a repeatable, enjoyable
routine.
5. A Complete System for Faster Progress
The SIR Team Training class blends:
- Live coach demonstration
- Guided shadow-swing imitation
- Robot-fed rhythm training with the iPong
- SIR filming and AI-assisted review
- Take-home video for ongoing practice
